Beautiful Lalique France “Clairefontaine” crystal perfume bottle, featuring one of Lalique’s most recognizable floral designs.

The clear spherical crystal bottle is topped with an elaborate frosted crystal stopper depicting four sprays of lily of the valley, beautifully contrasting Lalique’s clear and satin-finished crystal.

The Clairefontaine design was originally created by René Lalique in 1931 and was later reissued in crystal. Please review all photos .

Description

Striking pair of signed brass bird sculptures by Charles Reussner, designed in a sleek French Art Deco style. Each stylized heron or crane features an elongated curved neck and streamlined body, mounted on a square black marble base.

Both sculptures are signed “Reussner” on the lower brass mounting plates. The polished brass has developed areas of oxidation, spotting and surface variation that give the pair an attractive vintage character.
